My latest painting project was this speed-painted Khazrak One-Eye:
I'm quite happy with the way he turned out, especially considering how little time it took to paint this guy. He needs a better base, though. Something more fitting for a hero. Perhaps a slab of rock with some branches under it and scattered skeletal remains?
However, I can't say that I like the model itself that much.
You can see that it's Khazrak, but it simply doesn't have that "lordly" feeling to it.
Maybe it's because of the slouching pose of the model and a weird looking head.
I'd like this model more bulkier, his head crowned with a pair of a bit bigger and more detailed horns and a pose worthy of a hero. I imagine him roaring and leaping off a rock, in the style of a Bloodthirster. Or simply standing up more straight like on this beautiful piece of artwork:

Where did you buy that model?? I cant find anywhere this model.

DeleteThis version with the updated head is a bit more rare than the old one with the long face and weird fully vertical horns.
